Last weekend, during High Score 2021, I had the pleasure of joining some local audio and games industry legends on a live stream panel as part of this year's online game audio event!

Giselle Rosman (VIC), Abby Phillips (VIC), Matt Schenkel (VIC) + Jini Maxwell (VIC)
What is a game jam, why are they a great starting point for your games portfolio and how do they work for audio peeps!

With Jini Maxwell moderating and fielding audience questions, Giselle Rosman, Abby Phillips, and I all had a great chat about game jams, and what it's like to participate in one as an audio practitioner. Whether you're a sound designer, composer, voice actor, or anything in between, everyone can enjoy a game jam, and gain some valuable takeaways. In the hour-long session on Saturday afternoon, we discussed memorable moments from our game jam experiences, and highlighted the creative and professional benefits of jamming!
