Indie devs of GDC 2024, BYO game for a fun night of demos & networking! Don't have a game? Mingle with indies and check out their games!
On the Tuesday night of Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2024 in San Francisco, we ran our second annual(?!) Indie BYOG event. Held at The Royale SF, a jazzy multi-tiered bar with a great vibe, this indie showcase hosted dozens of exciting and unique games from indie devs and studios from all over the world.
For some indies, this might have been their first time demoing, and for some, it was one stop of many during the busy GDC week. Projects we encouraged to be shown off include WIP games, game jam projects, recently-released titles, and any other small demos or proof of concepts.
Same as last year, we were blown away by the incredible variety of studios that turned up to showcase their games. The following titles are just a few projects that were shown in WIP form at the event, but they come from exciting Aussie and international indies that are building momentum both locally and internationally.

Indie devs bringing a game, this is a great way to get your project in front of other devs, publishers, and game industry professionals of all flavours from around the world! For everyone attending, this is a great chance to check out some unique indie titles in a chill setting, so come by for a drink or two and make your way through the range of boutique games on show! Expect relaxed vibes and a great atmosphere!
